Bruce Willis and ex-wife, Demi Moore, are quarantining together while their daughters share pics on social media.
Bruce Willis and Demi Moore, who divorced 20 years ago, made headlines earlier this month for quarantining together amid the coronavirus pandemic.
Now, daughter Scout Willis is revealing why on the “Dopey” podcast.
The 28-year-old said there is a simple explanation for the set-up, saying Willis came up to the quarantine house early because his wife, Emma Heming Willis, got held back for a medical emergency when they were meant to leave together.
“My stepmom was going to come up here with my little sisters,” she began. “But my younger sister, who is now actually 7 years old, at a park, had never gotten a talk about not (expletive) with hypodermic needles that she found, so she actually tried to poke her shoe with it and poked her foot.”
She continued, “So my stepmom had to be in L.A. waiting to get the results from taking her to the doctor so my dad came up here early and then travel got crazy so my stepmom stayed in LA with my little sisters.”
Scout admitted that it’s been “really funny” to have both her parents “in the house where they raised us.”
“(It) has been really cute,” she added. “They’re both such nerdy, adorable, 90s parents in a small town where they chose to have their kids and not be in LA. It’s been pretty cute.”
She also laughed at everyone’s huge interest in her famous parents.
“It’s just so funny because to me they’re just like my super (expletive) weird parents but to everyone else, they’re at this different level,” she said.
Sister Tallulah, 26, shared a photo of the family’s quarantine fun on Instagram earlier this month, showing the group together wearing matching striped pajamas.
“Chaotic neutral,” she captioned the photo, which shows Willis and Moore front and center standing arm-in-arm. Scout, film director Dillon Buss (who is dating Tallulah) and a pajama-clad dog are also shown in the photo.
Moore shared a similar shot to her Instagram, captioning the photo “family bonding.”
While responding to a commenter, Tallulah confirmed that her family “made the choice to quarantine together and have been together for 27 days taking every precaution.”
